September 20, 2009, (Sawf News) - The marketing video highlights the ability of the AP/APG-81 radar's ability to acquire and track multiple target using its rapid beam steering.

The AP/APG-81 radar has over 1,000 TR modules with an advanced receiver and exciter capable of extreme wave form agility.

It has an estimated operational range 100 mile.

    Interesting!

I am also searching for more infos about the latest AESA radars, especially of those in the MMRCA competition and others that are on offer for Indian fighters.
Would be nice if you can provide a comparison of them!

These are the specs that I found so far:

Zhuk AE (before the latest news of increased range)- Mig 35:
    - can track 30 targets at a time and engage 6 of them
    - detection range for sea targets (destroyer size) at 200Km/fighter size (3m²) at 130Km
    - diameter 575mm
    - tr-modules?

RBE 2 AA - Dassault Rafale

    - can track 40 targets at the same time and engage 8 of them
    - detection range of sea targets ?/ fighter size (30 square foot ~ 2,7m²)at 75nm = 138,9Km
    - diameter?
    - 1000 tr-modules

Elta 2052 - on offer for LCA

    - can track 64 targets at the same time, engage?
    - detection for sea targets?, fighter size targets?
    - diameter, adapted to aircaft nose limitations
    - tr-modules, rumors says 1500

Even if not many specs of this radar are known, we can compare it with Eltas 2032 multi mode radar and get a guess what detection ranges the 2052 might have.
Elta 2032 detection range for sea targets 160nm = 296.32 km
Detection of air targets 80nm = 148.16 km

IMO, the israelis shows again that they are one of the best in radar and military technology!

I know your Modern Fighter Aircraft Radars comparison, but I meant only a comparison of MMRCA radars (pros and cons) and maybe those which can be fited on the LCA.

as i said before americans never disclose technical info

Elta 2032 detection range for sea targets 160nm = 296.32 km
Detection of air targets 80nm = 148.16 km
    ---------------------------------------
this radar comes at different power rating with different detection ranges for different aircrafts

but unfortunately israelis themselves can't use this radar or 2052 radar

i have read that bars radars will have simultaneous air to air and air to ground detection capability with new computer and software upgrading in phase 3 of su30mki.

Of course, but it still shows what how good they are in radar technology and that they can't use it, should be one more reason for us to use them on our fighters!

any way radar which requires no maintainance for entire service of aircraft is really cool

    Israeli radar

I would not go with the published stats on the ELTA radar unless you can personally verify them.

People who have dealt with the Israeli weapon companies know they exagerate their weapons abilities.
